Modern Cloth Nappies
Healing Crystals
Q: Natural Products Are all of your products natural? A: Most of our products are natural. But certain products like the modern cloth nappies, not all of the material in them is natural. But it sure beats using disposible nappies to help save our enviroment! Q: Modern Cloth Nappies What is a Modern Cloth Nappy? A: Modern cloth nappies are just like a disposable only you keep using them over and over. So they are better for the enviroment, plus they are way cuter! Unlike the terry toweling cloth nappies you may have worn as a baby, modern cloth nappies are shaped like a disposable but do up with either velcro or press studs. No more folding, no more pins. Just put the nappy on baby and you're done! There a few different designs of cloth nappies. All-In-One - An all in one cloth nappy is just that, it comes all in one. No need for covers or inserts. They have a waterproof outer and an inner of microfleece, suedecloth or velour. The absorbant material is already sewn inside the nappy. They may take a longer drying time than other nappies due to the number of layers it has. Pocket - A pocket nappy is like the all in one but it has an opening at the top of the nappy to stuff it with flanneltte, microfibre or hemp boosters. They do not require a cover. In my opinion they take the least amount of drying time. Fitted - A fitted nappy is like the all in one but it needs a cover as there is no waterproof outer layer. They come with either a sewn in, lay in or snap in soaker. Cover - Covers are needed for the fitted nappies. They come in material of either PUL (Polyurethane Laminate), Polyester Fleece and Wool. Cloth nappies may seem a little expensive at first but they pay for themselves in the long run. A baby needs on average 6 to 8 nappy changes a day (more for a newborn). This equates to approx $120 per month in disposable nappies and that's only for one baby! But a cloth nappy system in most cases can be used for more than one child. A basic nappy system consisting of a few fitted nappies and covers can cost as little as $100 and a set of mainly fitteds and pockets can cost up to around $600. So because you use cloth over and over again, it works out cheaper in the end. Q: Healing Crystals How do healing crystals work? A: Crystal healing is the use of crystals for healing, meditation and positive changes in the mind and body. The theory is that crystals carry vibrational rates. Placing these vibrational rates within the aura changes your aura's vibrational rates. Often the effects are indirect, but very potent. Other times, the effects are very direct and repeatable. Crystals work well with the human energy field; they can move, absorb, focus, direct and diffuse energy within the body. Ultimately, they are used to cleanse the person from bad or negative energy believed to cause an illness. Clearing out the bad spiritual energy alleviates the physical ailment. Crystals are used for physical, mental, emotional and spiritual healing. Additionally, crystals can be worn, placed next to a person's bed as they sleep and in some cases placed around a person's bath. |
